A Hatchling can possess several personality traits that indicate how they prefer to be cared for.

Active		Is more energetic and requires more playtime
Lazy		Is less energetic and requires less playtime
Messy		Habitat becomes messier faster, but can stand to be in a messier space.
Neat		Keeps the habitat tidier but dislikes even the smallest mess.
High Appetite		Requires more feeding but stays full longer.
Low Appetite		Requires less feeding but gets hungrier faster.
Cheerful		Keeps a happy disposition longer but becomes very sad when ignored.
Grumpy		Quick to anger but can be ignored longer
